A Christmas Conversation with Carrie Ellen and her son

Hello fine listeners and seasons greetings.

I have loved having guests on the show like the author and CEO of the Come and See Foundation, Stan Jantz (episode 1), actress Laura Black (episode 2), pastor & church planter Kyle Costello (episode 3) and Bible teacher, fellow podcaster and author Ines Franklin (episode 4).

But as fun and fascinating as those earlier shows are, I think today's episode may just be my favorite. And for a special reason.

You guys, my oldest son is today’s guest and I can’t wait for you to hear from him.

He’s the one who named me mom. He’s an incredible big brother. He’s wise. He’s funny. He’s everything a boy should be. He’s curious, adventurous, kind, brave & an absolute blessing and gift to our family. So it’s no small thing I’m introducing him to you today on this very special Christmas episode.

I talk about hope and some of the circumstances I faced when growing a family and then my boy encourages us all with a message of courage. He reminds us God is always with us and will never abandon us. Words, I believe we all need a reminder of this Christmas.
